2017 Fellowship
WomenNC is proud to introduce its 2017 CSW Fellows!
Zoe Willingham – Duke University
Zoe Willingham is a senior at Duke University majoring in public policy with a minor in statistical science. Her primary policy interest is protecting women and LGBTQ employees in their place of work. Last summer, Zoe worked for the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions researching policy initiatives aimed at removing barriers for working women.
Lauren Frey – North Carolina State University
Lauren Frey is a senior at North Carolina State University majoring in environmental sciences and women’s and gender studies with a minor in anthropology. Her previous research experiences focused on family planning, local food production, and food access in low-income communities. On campus, she is a Women’s Center peer educator, a sustainability steward, and a mental health ambassador.

Cristy Villalobos – Meredith College
Cristy Villalobos is a senior at Meredith College majoring in political science with a concentration in law and justice. Her primary areas of interest in terms of women’s rights are equal access to quality healthcare and equal political participation. As a senior, she is concurrently working on her research regarding the impact that voter identification requirements have on female voter turnout.
