WomenNC Supporters, Friends – Join Us to Advocate for Women Tues. August 26th, 3:30pm, Raleigh NC
WomenNC members & friends, please join us, on the Bicentennial Mall in Raleigh, NC for a march to the NC State Capitol for the Women’s Rights Day of Action!
We need volunteers to:
- Help us get signatures for CEDAW ratification
- Assist our inaugural launch of WomenNC’s petition program for Cities for CEDAW in NC
- Publicly represent WomenNC and the importance of improving the status of women and girls in North Carolina (wear orange & purple if you can)
Thank you for your support, in person or by sending friends and colleagues to stand with WomenNC and many others (such as NC Women United) on this important day. All are welcome, even without an RSVP — we hope for as many supporters as possible to bring real, embodied presence to these issues of life, death, and dignity for women and girls.
