WomenNC Kicks off our 2022-2023 Scholars Program

WomenNC is excited to announce that we have officially brought in our new '22-'23 cohort of 11 scholars!

Scholars this year include:

2 students from Duke University;

2 students from UNC-Chapel Hill;

4 students from NC State University;

2 students from NC Central University;

1 student from Shaw Univeristy.

Scholars will examine issues of gender disparity in the local context that will address the theme of his year's United Nations Commission on the Status of Women (CSW 67) where they will present their work to their global colleagues: Innovation and technological change, and education in the digital age for achieving gender equality and the empowerment of all women and girls.
